The student must produce a valid driving licence for the type of machine the student will be using. If a photocard licence then the counterpart is no longer required. If the student has a paper licence, then a valid passport must be provided as photo-ID. No Licence – no course.
All courses will be booked on the basis of the information supplied by the student to bike-moore. The responsibility for ensuring that these details are correct (including licence entitlements) belongs to the student.
In the event of a mechanical breakdown or any other cause beyond the control of bike-moore, bike-moore reserves the right to rearrange or rebook any course at the earliest convenient time to the student and to bike-moore.
If the student is riding a machine not provided by bike-moore, the student must ensure that it is in good and sound mechanical order. The student must produce a current MOT certificate (if required) and insurance certificate. The machine must be taxed and must have ‘L’ plates fitted to the front and rear and legal size (if required).
The student must wear suitable protective clothing, including a safety helmet that complies with UK legal requirements. b. If the student has not given 7 clear working days written notice of cancellation (from the first day or part of the course), then no refund will be due and all fees will be forfeit;
c. Any courses booked within 7 days of the course date will not be eligible for a refund;
d. If the student enters into an agreement for a full licence course (by booking such a course) and has started training (i.e. CBT) no refund will be given should the student wish to cancel the remainder of the course;
e. Any refunds will be subject to a £50.00 administration charge in addition to any other cancellation fees.
If the student wishes to change a booking, bike-moore requires 7 clear working days notice or fees will be lost.
The student must arrive in plenty of time to allow for the course to start on time. Lateness could result in loss of training fees, and will result in loss of fee for CBT courses. Failure to attend will result in loss of fees.
The student will be liable to reimburse bike-moore against any claim, loss, damage, or expense incurred by bike-moore as a result of a breach of any of these terms and conditions by the student (for example, in failing to maintain valid insurance cover), to the extent which claim, loss, damage or expense results from such breach.
If the student fails to attend the course that the student is booked on and/or outstanding monies have yet to be paid including para 8,9,10,11 and 12 above then bike-moore shall refer the outstanding amount to a Collection Agency to recover any monies owed.
By booking onto a course the student agrees to these terms and conditions. Where the student is under 18 years of age, the terms and conditions must be signed by a parent or guardian of the student prior to course commencing.
bike-moore reserves the right to cancel courses due to late arrival, inclement weather conditions or anything considered to put the student in danger.
